Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LexTalent.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users, including candidates, recruiters, and enterprise clients.

2. Platform Description

LexTalent.ai provides an agentic AI assessment platform for legal technology hiring. The Platform enables candidates to complete timed assessment challenges and enables recruiters to review candidate Agentic Readiness Scores and Behavior Log reports.

3. Candidate Terms

• →You must complete challenges independently and without assistance from other individuals
• →You may use any AI tools, code editors, or search engines during the challenge — tool use is part of what we measure
• →You grant LexTalent.ai a non-exclusive license to use your anonymized assessment data to improve our scoring models
• →Your assessment results may be shared with recruiters who have invited you to complete a challenge
• →You may not share challenge scenarios, questions, or scoring rubrics with third parties

4. Recruiter and Enterprise Terms

• →You may only use candidate assessment data for legitimate hiring evaluation purposes
• →You may not use assessment data to discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics
• →You must comply with all applicable employment and data protection laws in your jurisdiction
• →Candidate data may not be transferred to third parties without candidate consent
• →Enterprise accounts are subject to a separate Data Processing Agreement

5. Intellectual Property

All challenge scenarios, scoring rubrics, platform design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of LexTalent.ai. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without written permission. Your assessment submissions remain your intellectual property; you grant us a limited license to process and store them.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• →Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract challenge content or scoring algorithms
• →Creating multiple accounts to retake challenges
• →Sharing or publishing challenge scenarios or questions
• →Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• →Attempting to manipulate or falsify assessment results

7. Disclaimers

LexTalent.ai provides assessment scores as one signal among many in the hiring process. Scores are not a guarantee of job performance. We make no warranty that our assessments are free from bias, and we continuously work to improve fairness and accuracy. Assessment results should be used in conjunction with other evaluation methods.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LexTalent.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits related to the Platform.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
